We felt like Olympians last night as winners of the gold award at the Corporate Engagement awards for the best environmental or sustainable programme. The awards recognise the most successful and innovative corporate partnerships and sponsorships, and the communication strategies around those collaborations. We were applauded for our partnership working with Flourish CSR to help the WRAP in-house team create, develop and roll out of Textiles 2030, WRAP’s newest voluntary agreement.
Being recognised as leaders with this award builds on our experience at QSA of working closely with industry and their stakeholders to take action on climate impacts and deliver real measurable change.
Our high level of engagement and buy-in from the sector was recognised and the judges praised our work as “An excellent example of sector collaboration” and “strong partnership execution and result”.
The Textiles 2030 voluntary agreement brings together brands, retailers, recycling companies, technology innovators, academics and scientists together to transform the UK’s textile supply chain.
We achieved the high level of engagement by supporting WRAP with B2B targeted content including monthly newsletters, sustainability guides, webinars and round tables. Our partnership working with Flourish CSR and WRAP ensured brands at every level of the textiles supply chain were involved and engaged. We recruited new signatories, building on our previous success of leading SCAP 2020 during our tenure at WRAP and more recently providing hands-on technical support to the WRAP Textiles team.
